This session is designed to immerse children in a vibrant, nature-inspired environment that engages their sensory systems.

The goal of this session is to support children’s learning and growth through hands-on interaction with natural elements. Participants will take part in a variety of activities that encourage sensory exploration, allowing them to see, touch, smell, hear, and even taste different aspects of the natural world.

Objectives:

  • Promote Sensory Development: Offer opportunities for children to engage all five senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell— this is important because our sensory system affects the way we interact with our environment.

  • Encourage Connection with Nature: Help children develop a greater appreciation for the natural world through hands-on learning experiences.

  • Support Social Interaction: Enable cooperative play and communication among children as they participate in group activities. Through these sensory-rich experiences in a natural environment, children can build vital skills while benefiting from the therapeutic effects of outdoor play.
